The winners of the Lucca Comics & Games Awards 2022
An emotional evening, among great international authors, excellent debuts, awards to extraordinary careers, for an unforgettable event for the world of comics and games: the Lucca Comics & Games Awards were announced yesterday during an official ceremony at the Teatro del Giglio. Thanks to the partnership with Rai, the Italian “Oscars” for comics and games are back once again this year on the small screen with a special episode of Wonderland (Rai 4) which has delved into the excellence of two of the festival’s founding souls. The special episode will also be available on demand on RaiPlay from 30th October.

Role-Playing Game of the Year: Fabula Ultima, written by Emanuele Galletto, published by NeedGames and distributed by Asmodee Italia. Joe Dever Award for Best Cross-Media Operation of the Year: Cyberpunk by CD Projekt. The award is given by writer Pierdomenico Baccalario, journalist Paolo Cupola, influencer Chiara Papalia (aka Kodomo), film industry executive Beniamino Placido and economist and university lecturer Alessandro Stanchi.
Lucca Games’ Lifetime Achievement Award: Yoshitaka Amano.
