Important announcement for those who bought Early Bird tickets: home delivery

Important news for all visitors who bought a Lucca Comics & Games Early Bird ticket.

From 15th to 30th September, bypaying the delivery fee (equal to € 9.99), it will be possible to have your bracelets delivered directly to the specified address without having to stop by the Welcome Desk during the days of the festival: this is an opportunity to start enjoying your Lucca Comics & Games days right away. 

To benefit from this service, simply follow the procedure providedvia email by Vivaticket to Early Bird buyers.

Starting from 30th September, all applicants will receive the bracelet(s) related to the Early Bird ticket purchased.

 

Safety and maximum ticket cap

With caution and attention to the safety of its visitors, Lucca Comics & Games has decided toadopt self-containment measures regarding ticket sales, by fixing a maximum of 75.000 saleable tickets for a single day. The 2022 exhibition area will also be larger than that of 2019, when the maximum ticket cap was set to the usual 90.000 per day. A possible extension of this limit will be evaluated in September, in case all the general conditions and regulations in force allow it. Regulations against COVID-19 will be applied during the festival.

Maximum number of tickets per single account

It is possible to buy a maximum of 15 tickets for each account: changing the date or asking for a refund will not be possible after the purchase, but you can put your ticket up for sale on the Vivaticket portal, through the designated area "Resale tickets". 

 

Bracelets and Welcome Desk
The bracelets are necessary to enter different areas of the festival and can be collected at the Welcome Desks after showing the tickets. In case you purchased tickets for more days, the bracelets will be delivered all at once.

The “Skip the Welcome Desk” service, purchasable up until 14th October, will be available: for every purchase made after 1st September, you can have your bracelets delivered directly at home, with an additional cost of € 9.99.

Level UP passes

 

The beloved limited edition Level Up Fan passes will be available too: an occasion to make the most of the five days of Lucca Comics & Games 2022, with exclusive services and dedicated opportunities. For a price of € 340 ( + € 2.50 of presale and potential Vivaticket commissions), this type of pass will allow you to enjoy every day of the festival under unique conditions. From 1st to 5th September, Level Up Fans from the previous editions will be able to purchase one of the 300 special pre-emptive passes on sale by using the code they are given. From 6th September, everyone will be allowed to purchase these passes. Among the included services you will have: dedicated badge and bracelet, welcome bag, access to two reserved locations, free storage service and shipping with discounted prices, “skip the line” service at the stands, “skip the line” service - upon prior reservation -  valid for meetings in theatres, exclusive meetings with authors, breakfasts and aperitifs with guests, and “experience evenings” with festival guests.

Gift tickets and free entrance

People with disabilities are entitled to a free ticket, and any accompanying person will be able to purchase the reduced-price one. These tickets can be collected at the specific Welcome Desks, which will be announced on the website in the next few weeks. The entrance is also free for children born from 01/01/2013 or later (who must always be accompanied), but does not require the collection of a specific free ticket or bracelet. In case of doubt, the staff may ask you to show a document certifying their age.

 

Dedicated service for people with disabilities

People with disabilities and their accompanying people will also benefit from a dedicated ticket office and Welcome Desk service (bracelets pick-up), located by the Croce Verde in Lucca – Viale C. Castracani 468/D – Via Romana Trav II.

From 28th October to 1st November included,  from 8 AM to 6 PM, it will be possible to collect the free ticket for people with disabilities and purchase the discounted ticket(s) for all accompanying people.

For collection and purchase, documentation proving the disability will be required, regardless of the type or percentage.

In case of a stay longer than one day, it will be possible to collect or purchase the tickets (and collect the related bracelets) for the following days too.

The ticket prices for accompanying people are the following: Friday 28th € 17, Saturday 29th € 20, Sunday 30th € 22, Monday 31st € 20, Tuesday 1st € 17.

Group tickets

From 1st September to 10th October, group tickets (daily only) will be available on the Vivaticket portal, purchasable in books of 20 tickets each (one free ticket for every 20 purchased). The bracelets will be delivered via courier. Prices will be the same as the daily reduced-price tickets, in addition to the € 9.99 delivery fee.

 

Reductions

As mentioned in July, special reductions linked to initiatives such as the Bag of Lucca remain active: all those entitled will receive a code and will be able to purchase the tickets at a reduced price. Bracelets must be collected at the Welcome Desk.

When is the ticket office open?
After the Early Bird sale, the online ticket office reopened on 1st
September: since that date it has been possible to purchase all types of tickets on the 2022 list, in addition to those for Level UP Fans, group tickets and the pre-emptive tickets for all those who bought the Bag of Lucca in 2021

How long has it been possible to buy Early Bird tickets?
Early Bird tickets have been on sale from 4 PM on Thursday 21st July to 11:59 PM onThursday 4th  August. Therefore, they are no longer available.

How many tickets can I purchase?

How will my tickets be delivered?
Ordinary tickets and passes sold online are print-at-home (tickets and passes will be available in the Vivaticket system and sent by email on request). By purchasing “Skip the Welcome Desk” tickets and passes, you will have your printed tickets and bracelets delivered at home.

Where can I collect my bracelet?

I bought the Bag of Lucca in 2021, should I have bought Early Birds tickets?
No, pre-emptive tickets for those who bought the Bag of Lucca in 2021 will be available from 1st September at the same price as the Early Bird tickets (reduced-price tickets). All those entitled will receive a code and will be able to purchase the tickets at a reduced price. Bracelets must be collected at the Welcome Desk.

What are the differences between the Early Bird tickets and those available from 1st September?
All types of tickets have been available at a reduced price from 21st July to 4th August (daily tickets and all types of passes for two, three, four and five days). On 1st September the ticket office was reopened and the 2022 list entered into force.

The purchase of Level UP and pre-emptive tickets for the owners of the Bag of Lucca in 2021 is granted; these types of tickets will be available from 1st September.

Can children enter for free?
The entrance is  free for children born from 01/01/2013 or later (who must always be accompanied), but does not require the collection of a specific free ticket or bracelet. In case of doubt, the staff may ask you to show a document certifying their age.

Can people with disabilities enter for free?

What anti-Covid regulations will be in place?
As with all public manifestations and events, all anti-Covid regulations in force at the time of the festival will be applied.

Where can I find information on the programme and the guests?
After the first previews on 19th July, the programme will be published on 29th September on the occasion of the press conference, but other previews will be revealed during the month of September. From that moment on, the programme will be integrated and constantly updated with all new developments.
