History Channel Italy and Communityverse

Communityverse

One of the Metaverse Partners of this Lucca Comics & Games edition will be History Channel Italy, the first History channel in the world to open up to the metaverse, which will propose a very special activity on the Spatial.io platform.

To mark the launch of the miniseries Colosseum, dedicated to the Flavian Amphitheatre as a global symbol of Ancient Rome’s greatness (on History Channel, Sky 411, from 18th October at 9:15 PM), the channel of the A+E Networks Italy group is in fact making its entrance in the web 4.0: the platform, developed with the creative direction and technological development of Matteo Moriconi from Fusion Communications and of Xcave’s digital artists, will be put on display at the Multiverse of Metaverses exhibition. The Colosseum metaverse is already available online to expand the cinematographic horizons of the small screen and to give users an immersive experience in one of the most iconic places of history.

You will be able to experience the atmosphere lived inside the amphitheatre in ancient times for free from your desktops, smartphones and viewers. Users will be able to enter a totally free space without having to register: here, through an exclusive preview, they will have the chance to see special content from the miniseries and behind-the-scenes, get to know the protagonists of “Colosseum” up close and customise their own avatar.
To celebrate the opening of the exhibition on 28th October, History Channel Italy will provide an outstanding deejay set with Catherine Poulain in the gladiator arena: an influencer with 500,000 followers, Catherine is one of the most popular deejays of Italian and international nightlife. The party in the metaverse will start at 8:00 PM and will be accessible to everyoneonline.
