After receiving the Yellow Kid award as “Comic of the Year” at the previous edition of Lucca Comics Awards with “Rusty Brown”, Chris Ware will be a guest at Lucca Comics & Games 2022 in collaboration with Coconino Press. For the occasion, the publishing house will publish his highly anticipated work “Building Stories”, a milestone in comic book storytelling.

“Building Stories” is a one-of-a-kind graphic novel – published in the United States back in 2012 – which pushes the boundaries of books as objects: it is a box containing a story narrated in 14 comics of various types and sizes, ranging from hardback volumes to posters, from tabloid newspapers to comic strips and books, which were designed to be readable in any order.
