The gaming village

Videogames

MediaWorld is back for the third year in a row with its iconic Gaming Village in Piazza Della Caserma: an area of over 600 sqm, dedicated to videogame, technology and innovation fans.

The 2024 edition vows to amaze, thanks also to a new graphic design realized, once again, by the international renowned artist Giovanni Timpano, who will play the chosen theme for this year, The Butterfly Effect, in a tech-key. The theme evokes the concept of how small actions can have huge repercussions, an idea well-paired with the constantly evolving and always surprising technological innovation of MediaWorld.

And this is exactly what the Gaming Village proposes to do in the 5 days of Lucca Comics: surprising visitors, with the best technological innovations and a rich schedule of unmissable appointments presented by the two now historic main hosts Bryan Box and Antonella Arpa (in art Himorta) flanked by many special guests from the world of gaming, technology and digital entertainment.

The Gaming Village will not only be a place of leisure, but also an occasion to discover future trends and experience the technological evolution firsthand. In this regard, artificial intelligence will be a major protagonist, whose potential, just as the theme of the “butterfly effect,” can generate great changes in the way of living technology and gaming.
