Foodmetti is Back
As an exclusive for Lucca Comics & Games, Foodmetti - Artisti delle tavole comes back, a festival in a festival dedicated to the excellence of the comics and food and wine world.
As last year, Foodmetti will be hosted inside the former Scuderie Ducali in Piazza San Romano, it will offer a refreshment area lead by chef Cristiano Tomei, and many events that will see comics authors dress the part of cooks and bartenders.
A special poster person for the 2024 edition of Foodmetti will be the chef Bruno Barbieri, protagonist not only of the flyer drawn by Peach Momoko, winner of two Eisner awards, but also of a special Diabolik comic-book written by Tito Faraci and drawn by Giuseppe Camuncoli and Elia Bonetti, that will be distributed as an exclusive at Foodmetti.
Bruno Barbieri, a passionate fan of Diabolik, will meet the Foodmetti audience during the presentation of the comic-book and, later on, will test the culinary skills of the authors Tito Faraci and Giuseppe Camuncoli in a cooking show dedicated to a specific dish, worthy of the King of Terror!
At Foodmetti will be presented Cavolo, che fico!, a project created with the collaboration between Area Performance ODV and Foodmetti, promoted and supported by the Regional Council of Tuscany. A project committed to nutrition education, with the illustrations of Sio, the original recipes of Cristiano Tomei and the nutrition information of Domenicantonio Galatà and Carlo Spinelli and the editorial care of saldaPress.
