R.L. Stine

R.L. Stine was born in Ohio, USA in 1943. He started writing stories at nine years old with an old typewriter that he found in his attic, and he hasn’t stopped since. In 1986, he wrote his first horror tale and in 1992 he created Goosebumps, a book series loved by generations of readers that continues to be the most successful of its genre. His books, translated into thirty-two languages, have sold four hundred million copies and made their author a celebrity.
