Shoji Kawamori

Kawamori, usually accredited as a “visual creator”, is an original work creator artist, animation director, screenwriter, mecha designer and cover many other roles as well. He is one of the original creators of Macross, the successful animated series, that had the important role in the development of what has make Japanese anime famous all over the world. He was also one of the designers behind the toys line Diaclone, following, becoming well-known as Transformes, included the omnipresent “Optimus Prime”. His works can reach a plethora of sectors, starting from animation and videogames to live-action films and market products. 

For the first time in Italy, Kawamori sensei will be present at Lucca Comics & Games from October 30th to November 3rd, leading sessions of autographs, meetings and workshops.
