Marika Herzog

Marika Herzog was born near Berlin in Germany. She moved in the countryside and started drawing. She spends most of the time working or fighting with three furry monsters to win the best office chair (unfortunately she usually loses). 

She loves horror films, TV series, videogames and spends the daily routine drinking litres and litres of coffee. 

She published many manga in Germany, such as Capacitas, Legacy of the Ocean (Carlsen), the Grimore series (Comic Culture Verlag), Demon King Camio and Whispering (Egmont). In 2019, she won the Phantastik Preis Award in the Best German-Language Comic category thanks to Capacitas and The Animania Award in the Best Manga National thanks to Whispering Blue. Her most recently work is Sleepy Boy.
