Henk B. Rogers
Henk Rogers, a Dutch-born game industry visionary, is renowned for bringing Tetris to the global market. After moving to Japan, he created The Black Onyx, Japan’s first role-playing game. In 1989, he secured the rights to Tetris for Nintendo’s Game Boy, significantly boosting its popularity. Rogers co-founded The Tetris Company with Alexey Pajitnov in 1996 and has founded environmental NGOs and Blue Startups, Hawaii’s first venture accelerator.
