Xavier Dorison
Xavier Dorison was born on October 8th, 1972, in Paris. He is one of the most famous French comics artists. In 1997 he made his debut with the series Le Troisième Testament, after graduating from a commerce school. His debut work obtained a great success among the audience and the critique. During the next years, he worked for several significant projects, such as Prophet (2000), Sanctuaire (2001), W.E.S.T. (2003) and Long John Silver (2007). In 2006 wrote the script of Les Brigades du Tigre, and from 2009 he has been teaching screenwriting at prestigious schools as well as being a film consultant. Between 2012 and 2016 he worked at the HSE (Human Stock Exchange) series and at other successful works, such as Undertaker and Le Chateau des animaux (2018). In 2020-2021, Dorison took part to an ambitious project dedicated to Goldrake, which is a graphic novel, resumed after the end of its original animated series. This innovative and passionate reinterpretation of a pop culture icon captivated both historical fans and the new generation of readers
