A new location is ready to welcome the professional meetings between publishers and aspiring cartoonists that will take place during the days of the festival: in this edition, it will be in the former Scuderie Ducali in Piazza San Romano that some of the major Italian publishers will be looking for different professionals to be involved in their projects.

A section of the festival that is increasingly appreciated by professionals, as demonstrated by one of the major novelties of this edition: in addition to Italian publishers, three sessions with international editors are planned.

Among them is CB Cebulski (in the photo), Marvel's Editor in Chief, who was boosted by the success of last year's session in which three candidates were then chosen by the US publishing house. Cebulski himself declared that it was "the best result of any PRO opportunity in the world".

In addition, Lucca Comics & Games is honoured to announce that a portfolio review will also be carried out by Jim Lee, who holds one of the highest positions in DC (President, Publisher and Chief Creative Officer) and Shunsuke Tanaka, editor of Kodansha, one of the most prestigious Japanese publishing houses. Also this year it will be possible to submit an application online, through a special form published on the Lucca Comics & Games website, choosing among the editors present. Those selected will receive confirmation of their appointment and will meet the editors directly during the days of the festival.
