Comics

The packed cultural programme will win the hearts of readers who will have the opportunity to see some of the most popular Italian and international authors live and to attend meetings that will bring the best of world comics to the same table.

  1. Among the first appointments not to be missed, on Wednesday 01/11 (Auditorium San Francesco) Sio, Dado, Fraffrog and Giacomo Keison Bevilacqua will tell in an electrifying show the evolution of their factory Gigaciao!
     
  2. The first day of the festival (01/11, 2.30 pm, Auditorium del Suffragio) will also be an opportunity to attend the dialogue between three greats of comic book writing: Garth Ennis, Joe Kelly and Howard Chaykin will illustrate their vision (and visions) of the stars and stripes in  “Writing America”
     
  3. Friday 3 November will open with a “Breakfast with Frank Miller” (10.30 a.m., Teatro del Giglio): one of the greatest cartoonists of all time, celebrating the 25th anniversary of his masterpiece 300, will dialogue with his friend and colleague Simone Bianchi.
     
  4. The morning of 03/11 (12 p.m., Teatro del Giglio) continues with a celebration destined to become part of the festival's history: X-Men/Avengers: the 60th anniversary of the world's greatest team. An exceptional parterre composed of Douglas Wolk, Mara Famularo, Stefano Caselli, Elena Casagrande, CB Cebulski and Simone Bianchi will celebrate Captain America, Storm, Iron Man, Wolverine, Captain Marvel and many other superheroes.
     
  5. In the afternoon of Friday 03/11 (3 p.m., Auditorium San Girolamo) spacewill be given to the extraordinary work of four female authors - Fumettibrutti, LaTram, Rita Petruccioli, Elizabeth Pich - capable of alternating unconventionality and emotions, giving us a varied and unprecedented vision of our reality in their meeting “The scratch of comics”.
     
  6. On Saturday 04/11 (11.30 a.m., Teatro del Giglio) the "Keynote Bonelli" returns: the editorial and multimedia novelties of Sergio Bonelli Editore will be presented to the public in the unmissable meeting-show “A look to the future”.
