Play Paradise

Games

Without a doubt, Lucca Games is a paradise for old and new players. In addition to the Carducci Pavilion, other spaces such as Lucca Old-School RPG and the Pinturicchio Tournament Area have been set up: in total, more than 350 tables will be available for demonstration sessions and tournaments of board games, card games, and role-playing games.

The Carducci Pavilion, the largest tensile structure ever built in Italy and Europe, with over 10,000 square metres of floor space will host more than 150 exhibitors of board games, role-playing games, miniatures, trading card games and artists.

In the centre of the pavilion, the Grog Live Show, the new stage area for Games content, and the Performance Area, the artist playground of fantasy illustrators celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

For the occasion, it will be possible to purchase the Lords for Fantasy calendar, containing the works of the artists who participated in 2022, published by Eterea. The proceeds will go to Area Performance Onlus projects together with the proceeds of the auction to be held on 5 November.

Among the activities that will take place during the fair will be the 'Games 30' game library, a journey through the best titles of the last 30 years by the Game of the Year and Role-playing Game of the Year juries. The games selected by the juries will be available to the public in the Demo Area of the Carducci Pavilion.

As usual, activities such as the Role Playing Game Olympics, the Mastering Tournament and Play with the Designer cannot be missed: in the area dedicated to the latter, in collaboration with SAZ Italia and La Gilda del Cassero, it will be possible to challenge international and Italian game designers.

Finally, among the unmissable events of this edition, on Saturday 4 November, at 5.30 p.m. at the Giglio Theatre, an unmissable live episode of Dungeons & Deejay will be staged, in collaboration with Wizards of the Coast, which will directly involve the audience present to take them into the fantastic world of Dungeons & Dragons, thanks to master Francesco Lancia.
