Paul Bonner

Paul Bonner is a well-known fantasy illustrator who has been collaborating some of the most important game developers for more than 20 years, creating astonishing works of art.

Born in England, he moved to Denmark after graduating in illustration, more than 30 years ago. There, he created words inhabited by trolls, goblins and dwarfs.

He worked as illustrator for “Lone Wolf” and he designed some covers of the world-famous RPG “Dungeons and Dragons”. Moreover, he worked with Games Workshop, FASA Corporation, Riotminds and Rackham. Bonner worked for several years on “Magic: The Gathering”, starting from “Eventide” 2008, and his name today is linked to the renowned fantasy sagas written by J.R.R. Tolkien and Lloyd Alexander.

Over the last years, Bonner’s unique style has contributed to creation of the board game “Zombicide”, introducing non-conventional characters to the series, such as dwarfs, ogres and vampires.

Paul Bonner will be guest at Lucca Comics and Games in collaboration with CMON.
