Guest: Rand Miller
The first guest of the video games world is Rand Miller, a veteran of the gaming world. He started being a game designer 40 years ago, creating stories and maps that evolved into huge interactive computer experiences, during the dial-up Internet and cathode ray tube screen era.
Together with his brother Robyn, he co-founded Cyan and changed the gaming world forever with an experience that differs from everything we have seen before: we are talking about Myst.
In Lucca, together with its author, we celebrate 30 years of the game that has revolutionised the gamer’s experience forever by focusing everything on the immersion and by creating worlds in which the player could interact in the most realistic way, paving the way for the following video games generation.
