Licia Troisi
Licia Troisi was born in Rome in 1980. She started to write as a child, and never stopped since then, not even during her studies in astrophysics. Her first book, Chronicles of the Overworld, was published in 2004, followed by, among many others, The Dragon Girl, Nashira Reigns and the Dominion Saga. Her last series is Multiverse Wars, of which two books have been published, Poe the Helmswoman of Time and Poe and the Dragon Hunter.
She has a PhD in astronomy and she also writes popular science books, such as The Impudent Beauty of Cosmos, that was awarded the Cosmo and the Asimov Prizes, and the more recent Astrophysics for Anxious People.
In 2021 she translated The Outlaws Scarlett & Browne, by Jonathan Stroud, her favorite fantasy writer.
She likes reading - comics books too, particularly mangas - and listening to music - rock and classic, but above all Muse. Sometimes, especially during Lucca Comics & Games, she likes cosplaying her favorite characters.
