James Dashner

James Dashner was born and raised in Georgia but now lives in Utah with his wife and their four kids. After many years working in finance, he is now a full-time writer. His bestseller series Maze Runner includes The Maze Runner (_Il labirinto), The Scorch Trials (La fuga) and The Death Cure (La rivelazione), the prequels The Kill Order (La mutazione) and The Fever Code (Il codice), and the spin-off Crank Palace (Il palazzo degli spaccati). By the same author, we also published The Mortality Doctrine trilogy. The first three books in the Maze Runner series have been adapted into three films of the same name directed by Wes Ball. In 2021, we published The Maze Cutter (Il veliero del labirinto), the first novel in the new Maze Cutter trilogy that tells the story of the protagonists seventy years after the events of The Death Cure (La rivelazione). The Godhead Complex (Il labirinto della trinità_) is the second book in the saga available in this editorial series.

DYSTOPIAN RACING

Two glimpses beyond the apocalypse and perhaps even further. How and why today dystopia is one of the most effective ways of narrating the world in the words - written or drawn - of James Dashner, author among others of the Maze Runner series, and Roberto Recchioni, one of the most eclectic authors, cartoonists and screenwriters (and fortunately less reassuring) in circulation. Moderator: Emilio Cozzi.
