Jose Cavero

Jose Cavero (interior architect, conceptual artist and illustrator) won the competition Comics of the Bicentenary of Peru in 2021 with Sacred Duties, organized by the Asicreaperù Cultural Association in collaboration with the Municipality of Surquillo in Lima. The comic was published and distributed by the Municipality in the District Schools and recorded in the Peru National Library. 

He was a speaker at the University of Palermo in Argentina during the Design Week 2021 with the presentation How to deal with the first space design workshop. He participated in the art collective Visiones Paralelas in 2019 with the works The Beatles and Skywalker. 

He has been teaching for 10 years at the School of Creative Careers "Toulouse Lautrec" and holds illustration workshops in different municipalities. 

Four years ago he participated in the digital Inktober event exposing various illustrations on social networks. He is currently working on the graphic novel Bloodbusters (adapted from the Urania Award winning novel written by Francesco Verso) for Future Fiction publishing house and is creating various personal projects of stories and comics.
