Giuseppe Camuncoli

Giuseppe Camuncoli is a cartoonist born in 1975, who professionally debuted with the self-production Bonerest, later translated and published in the United States by Image Comics.

After some other Italian releases, he arrived into the American market with Swamp Thing (written by Brian K. Vaughan). Ever since, he has been working mainly for DC Comics and Marvel Comics on comics such as Batman, Hellblazer, Batman Europa, The Amazing Spider-Man and Darth Vader. He is cartoonist and co-author of the Image Comics Undiscovered Country series, written by Scott Snyder and Charles Soule, published in Italy by SaldaPress.

In 2022, he was the creator and co-founder of FOODMETTI, the exhibition that combines the comics world with the food & beverage one, which debuted in the same year at Lucca Comics & Games. Furthermore, he is the artistic director and comics teacher at the Scuola Internazionale di Comics of Reggio Emilia, where he lives with his wife Jessica and his daughter Martina.
