Mazin-Go!

The year was 1980 and on Rai channels, after the great invasion of the Japanese animes, Rio Kabuto was screaming «Mazin-Go !», creating the greatest masterpiece of the Master Go Nagai: Mazinga-Z. The exhibition Mazin – Go! starts right from there, framed by the Giardino degli Osservanti of the Japan Town at Lucca Comics & Games.

The 32 plates will be premiered nationally (curated by the Cultural Association AMICI DI GO NAGAI) and they will include artworks by some of the most prominent Italian artists when it comes to comics.

Besides Paolo Barbieri, creator of the exhibition poster, you will have the opportunity to admire tributes to Giorgio Abou Mrad, Massimiliano Avogadro, Alessandro Bignamini, Sergio Cabella, Ivan Calcaterra, Giuseppe Candita, Stefania Caretta, Giorgio Comolo, Fabrizio De Fabritiis, Beniamino Delvecchio, Federica Di Meo, Marta Ferraris, James Garofalo (photomontage), Andrea Gatti, Federica Grego, Valerio Held, Giulia Massaglia, Gloria Meluzzi, Andrea Osella, Ivan Passamani, Vittorio Pavesio, Fabio Piacentini, Alessandro Piccinelli, Vincenzo Riccardi, Fabrizio Ricci, Fabrizio Russo, Enrico Simonato, Noemi Siino, Daniele Statella, Andrea Yuu Dentuto and Melissa Zanella.
