The Launch of the Project Area Junior

Junior

A partnership once again renovated, granting incredible emotions to over 130 children of primary and secondary schools of the Lucca region.

In the morning of October 10th, the Theater Astra of Lucca has been the heart of a special event “for kids only” adults are not allowed. For the third consecutive year, a young crowd for a few hours has slipped into the role of reporters. Making room to the young journalists apprentices that have left behind the scenes their “colleagues” of the national and local headlines, and thanks to their clever and curios questions they made the group of special guests tell all the main news about Lucca Junior.

Andrea Lucchetta, Geronimo Stilton, Hello Kitty and many other friends of Lucca Comics & Games have guided the public through the discovery of every initiative by the festival section dedicated to the children (but also for every adult that has not stopped listening to their inner child).

Every year the Real Collegio changes into the Family Palace: cloisters, rooms, stairways liven up and in the days of the festival they turn into the house of every dreamer, explorers of fantasy worlds, readers who love to travel with the stories, families, classrooms and teachers. That magical touch doesn’t stay confined to walls of the Real Collegio, it resides in all activities spread across the city attracting visitors of every age.

As the previous edition, the festival will be completely free for children under 10 years old: the entrance for children born from 01/01/2015 is free, meaning that they can access every area without ticket or bracelet (although accompanied by at least an adult equipped with a ticket and bracelet).

The Family Palace, as tradition, will be one of the areas open for everyone, without the need to have an entry ticket to the festival. An occasion not to be missed, to start exploring the various universes of Lucca Comics & Games, living them with the passion of a child.
