Jean-Pierre Dionnet
Born in 1947, Jean-Pierre Dionnet is a major figure in French fantasy, comics and pop-culture. As a producer, comic-book scriptwriter, editor-in-chief and television host, Jean-Pierre Dionnet has helped launch a whole generation of authors and scriptwriters.
He joined the newspaper Pilote in 1968, before founding Métal Hurlant - Les Humanoïdes Associés in 1975 to devote himself fully to science fiction. Editor-in-chief, he also published his own scripts.
Five years later, in 1980, he moved into television co-creating Les Enfants du Rock on Antenne 2 and hosting Sex Machine.
Since then, he has devoted himself to writing his own projects, and is a permanent member of the jury of the Grand Prix de l'Imaginaire jury.
