Bruce Sterling

This year, Lucca Comics & Games will host Bruce Sterling, one of the fathers of modern science-fiction, and creator with William Gibson of the cyberpunk genre.

Writer, journalist, editor and critic: he is the author behind masterpieces such as “Schismatrix” and, together with William Gibson, “The Difference Engine”. He lives in Turin with his wife and he has created his alter ego Bruno Argento, with whom he has published many novels, gathered in 2015 in one single collection called “Pirate Utopia, tales by Bruno Argento”.

His attendance at Lucca Comics & Games is perfectly linked to this year's theme, Becoming Human, that revolves around the concept of humanity, social relations and machines. Sterling will have his own panel along with other guests renowned for their sci-fi works.
