Erik Larsen

Erik Larsen was born in 1962 in Minneapolis (Minnesota) and started drawing for Marvel, Eclipse and DC Comics when he was still very young. His dynamic drawing style made him immediately popular, so that he gained promotion to the main Spider-Man series in 1990, “The Amazing Spider-Man”, where he replaced the great Todd McFarlane.

In 1992 he founded, together with that same McFarlane, Jim Lee, Rob Liefeld, Jim Valentino, Marc Silvestri, Whilce Portacio and Chris Claremont, the independent publisher Image Comics, launching his most famous character, “Savage Dragon”. Since then, Larsen has always been working on the Dragon regular series, reaching the 243rd issue.

Erik Larsen will be one of Lucca Comics & Games guests in collaboration with Editoriale Cosmo.
