Born and raised in Leipzig (where she lives and works), Anna Haifisch is a German author and one of the most influential contemporary artists in Europe when it comes to comics.
She has collaborated with renowned editors and worked on prestigious titles, such as “Vice” (with “The Artist”), Reprodukt, Breakdown Press, Fantagraphics, Drawn & Quarterly, Rotopol. “The Artist” is her first work to be translated in Italian (recently published by Eris Edizioni).
Her works have been translated in different languages and she has exhibited her works in both collective and personal exhibition in Europe and North America. In 2018, she has been the protagonist of an exhibition dedicated to “The Mouse Glass” at the BilBolBul festival of Bologna, with many of her original artworks on display.
Anna Haifisch will guest at Lucca Comics & Games in collaboration with Eris Edizioni.
